Physiological effects
Vitatabs® Lactic Acid Bacteria capsules contain eight lactose-free enteric-coated lactic acid bacteria strains. Enteric coating means that the lactic acid bacteria are protected to withstand the acidity of the stomach, allowing them to take effect in the gut.
When consumed regularly, lactic acid bacteria promote well-being.
Vitatabs® Lactic Acid Bacteria capsules also contain inulin. Inulin is a prebiotic made from chicory root (Cichorium intybus). Inulin is nature's way of storing energy in a nearly calorie-free form that only the beneficial bacteria in the gut are able to use.
