Physiological effects
Collagen is a structural protein found in human tissues, including skin, hair, nails, and joint tissue. As we age, the body's ability to produce collagen and hyaluronic acid declines, leading to a loss of skin plumpness and elasticity.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in all living organisms. Hyaluronic acid helps bind water and smoothes out wrinkles and fine lines, increasing skin elasticity.
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, and nails, and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
